**Spoilers**
Throughout the series the Sliders encountered many villains. I’ll summarize the top five to lookout for.
Honorable Mention: Wade’s double
After the Sliders discover Quinn’s dead double in a swimming pool they meet up with Wade’s evil double. She killed her husband Quinn; a guy named Freddie White, and even tries to kill our own Wade and Quinn. Talk about a cold blooded murderer. It’s any ones guess as to how many she’s killed. She’s got a fierce attitude too and shows it off in the second season episode “The Young and the Relentless”.
5. Arturo’s double
He may look harmless, but in the season two episode “Post Traumatic Slide Syndrome”, he claimed Quinn’s invention of sliding as his own. But most of all he caused complete chaos in making us ask the question… who is the real Arturo? It’s likely that this ‘doppelganger’ was the one who actually slid with the rest of the Sliders throughout seasons two and three.
4. Logan
You can’t judge a book by its cover. Logan St. Claire, is the female double of Quinn Mallory. She killed her co-worker professor Arturo, by shoving him into an unstable vortex. Her nasty ego intends on ravaging other parallel worlds of their resources and ultimately gaining control of her world. On top of this, she held our Wade hostage and nearly killed her with a flying bullet. Logan’s evil schemes can be seen in season three’s episode premiere, “Double Cross”.
3. Geiger
Dr. Oberon Geiger’s intent was to “unstick” himself from space time. In hopes of gaining stability on an earth and a normal life, he chose to merge Quinn Mallory and his fraternal duplicate. In the process the Sliders lost their Quinn who is indefinitely merged in his double while Colin is split into a thousand different directions… sliding involuntarily. Dr. Oberon Geiger makes appearances in “The Unstuck Man”, “Applied Physics”, and “Eye of the Storm” in the fifth season.
2. Rickman
He murdered our beloved Professor Arturo, and went on to kill countless individuals from one parallel world to the next. A disease he contracted from the Gulf War has him stealing brain tissue from other people for survival. You can see Colonel Rickman and his nasty habits in the third season of Sliders.
1. Kromaggs
They’re fearless, dangerous and haunting. Ever since their appearance in season two’s “Invasion” the Kromaggs have left an insurmountable impression upon Sliders. Their intentions of destroying the human race, pillaging other worlds, and constructing breeding camps have made them the most horrifying villains of the series. You can witness their bad deeds in the second, fourth and fifth seasons of the series.
