Gil Bavel of the Cardinal Sin Youtube Channel interviewed Tracy Tormé, co-creator of Sliders and Marc Scott Zicree (The Twilight Zone Companion, Space Command, Sliders). They discuss a Sliders reboot, the Twilight Zone, television production and so much more. PJ of Orville Nation co-hosts.
In it Tracy discusses the past of the show, and his process in trying to reboot it. Marc Scott Zicree eluded to Tracy that his original Sliders was essentially like having your child kidnapped and raised by a drug lord. Before Tracy left the series he was labeled as “difficult”. Marc Scott Zicree mentioned that he brought in fans before season 4 to get their perspective on what they wanted for the upcoming season (season 4). Tormé’s new idea envisions two old characters as well as an offspring of Quinn and Wade for his reboot.
The morphed version of Universal Studios was all on board for a Sliders reboot and very recently asked Tracy, well why now? It seems as if it’s on the back burner for now. But don’t get too disheartened, he says when the dust settles we’ll certainly see Sliders again.
